‘JUST DESSERTS’ FUNDRAISER FOR ALAMANCE COUNTY CANDIDATES WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
Tom Steven's gallery was the perfect backdrop for delicious desserts, a glass of wine, a silent auction, chatting with friends and hearing from amazing candidates. The reviews have been outstanding. Food, beverages and supplies were all donated. We raised over $8000 and over 80 people attended. Both figures exceeded our expectations! Thanks to all who attended and provided support for the candidates!

CAWS (Coffee at Weaver Street)
meets for an hour every Wednesday, 11am. Everyone is welcome! It’s a great community building opportunity to chat with others and discuss just about anything! No agenda, no pressure, no limits (except civility) - just hanging together and getting to know each other.
Postcard Opportunities Still Available!
“North Carolina Votes” postcards and stamps are available at our Saturday demonstrations for a few more weeks. You write the message and address (from a preprinted list) and drop them in the mail on the appropriate date. Have a postcard party! If interested, contact Bob Northcott so he’ll know how many postcards to bring on Saturdays: bobnorthcott@gmail.com.
Our T-Shirt Fundraiser Continues
We have extra T-Shirts in most sizes. Both options are uni-sex. They are available at our Saturday demonstrations, or, if you would like to make other arrangements, please click on the button below. You can pay with check, cash, Zelle or Venmo. It’s great seeing folks wearing the shirts with pride!

County election boards and regional nonpartisan advocacy groups are scaling up operations ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
Voter Outreach Volunteering: The League of Women Voters covers Orange, Durham, and Chatham counties. You can volunteer for their tabling and outreach teams via the League of Women Voters Voter Services site to check voter eligibility and distribute the nonpartisan Vote411 election guide.
Regional Advocacy: Nonpartisan groups are seeking volunteers to advocate for early voting access. To join the Greater Triangle mobilization team, you can review regional contact points on the Democracy NC Take Action Page
